Aqua Flo XP2 suction cover 91231606 faceplate 2"part for XP2 pump with drain opening.

2-5/8" ID on back side to receive impeller ring.

This faceplate has 8 fastening locations for 8 screws (not included).  The plumbing connection for this type of pump is 2 inch plumbing (3 1/16 inch outer diameter physical dimension).

The 3 drain plug locations are at 5,6 and 8 oclock.

Tech Note Due to a design change in the current XP2/XP2e pump wet ends, face plate or volute replacement is not suggested. Instead, replace the wet end to avoid issues with how it fits.

Removing the Suction Cover
1. Remove the cover by removing the screws securing the cover to the volute (casing). The screws are located around the outside of the cover/faceplate.
2. Note the orientation of the loose wear ring on the impeller hub before disassembling.  It will need to go back the same way.

We also offer the impeller, o-ring, seal kit (PS-200) and wear ring as well as pump unions and drain plugs for the Aquaflo XP2 pump.

Reinstalling the Suction Cover
1. Inspect the o-ring for damage. Replace if needed. Instead of just this faceplate, we offer the whole faceplate kit which includes the o-ring (recommended)
2. Properly install the o-ring on the cover before mounting the cover to the volute.
3. Cover can be mounted to the volute in one orientation only. An ‘aligning’ feature is built-in with each part, to
ensure proper mounting. When properly aligned, the cover should slide in easily.
4. Secure the cover to the volute with screws. Tighten all screws alternately (crisscrossing the cover) to achieve
proper o-ring compression and cover seating.
5. Rotate the impeller by hand to make sure that it is rotating freely, without any interference.
