Clary Sage is popular as an essential oil as well, and the fragrance is said to boost self-esteem, confidence, hope and mental strength.  Clary Sage originates from the Salvia Sclarea sage plant which has similar properties to the common garden sage, but with a dash of Muscatel Wine.  Other suggested health benefits of Clary Sage include the properties of an antidepressant, euphoric and digestive.
