Artesian Control Panel K-4 8-Button K4 OP33-0088-40

Artesian Control Panel K-4 model OP33-0088-40 is the 8 button control panel with overlay available at Hot Tub Outpost.

This is the current model K-4 replacement control panel from Artesian Spas. (K4)

Control panel has 8 pin flat plug and cord included.

Control panel is rectangular 7x 3 1/4 inches and replaces the older style, larger oval control panels that used only the right 8 buttons and were discontinued.

This is the factory recommended replacement control panel for the older oval panel systems as found in Gold Class and other series spas as it still works with existing spa pack.

Includes the 8 button Gecko graphic overlay.

Overlay also available separately is 9916-100094 with 8 buttons (note that it may say Blower instead of Aroma, but otherwise mapping is correct for Gold Series spas)

Now the old, large Gold overlays are also available. Some have cut these and used them over the rectangular control panel while others have crafted the large one over the old oval template.

Although the large oval control panels are no longer available, the overlays are still available in 7 button and 8 button versions

Button Layout Notes
A few things to note - The new rectangular panel is similar in size at the rear box part as the larger oval panels, only they had a large plastic oval piece to go around the rectangular center. But button position is the same on the panel. Button layout may be slightly different.   The 2 left- most buttons are always Temp Up and Temp Down.  Pump 1 and Pump 2 and Program are also in the same spots.  Light and Mode are in the same spots.

So the only variable with respect to button layout is the Aroma button says Blower on the 8 button generic rectangular overlay and is absent from the 7 button Gold oval overlay.

To retrofit, can use existing panel control plate to mount the new rectangular control.  Then add the rectangular overlay 9916-100094 that comes with the rectangular control panel.

Rectangular control panel fits inside old template. Note panel edges are raised so best option is new style rectangular control panel.  If using old style larger oval panel, may need to be creative with scissors to cut out center rectangle and place the edge pieces on the large oval.  The large overlay will not sit nicely on the panel due to the raised edge around the rectangular panel, so again best to use the rectangular overlay.
