Artesian Spas Pump 6BHP 2-Speed Island 21-0110-81

Artesian Spa/Island Spa replacement 6BHP (brake torque horsepower) 2-speed pump part nr. 21-0110-81 is now discontinued and replaced by 21-0117-81

This 2 speed pump is used as the main #1 pump on select model Artesian and Island spas including Antigua model. 21-0110-81 also replaces the discontinued 21-0100-58.

This authentic pump is matched to the plumbing system in your spa with respect to plumbing connections with side discharge and center suction connections, amp draw, performance,56FR physical frame size, voltage and other factors.

When ordering this item, you will receive the current, most recent replacement pump as supplied by Artesian Spas to replace your 6HP 2-speed pump (current model not pictured but looks similar)

You can reuse the existing pump cord.

Replaces 21-0101-58

Balboa had labeled their pumps before under BHP = Breaking horsepower or Brake Horsepower which is rated under spa usage. Therefore it is NOT the actual horsepower of the motor, but based on performance of the pump under operation. BHP is approximately 48% of the actual HP therefore 6BHP = 3HP.  New labeling reflects the motor not under load.  If there were a true 6HP Pump, it would actually be about the same as a 39cc moped/scooter by the way just to correlate.
