When replacing an older style heater, replace the hi limit sensor as well h Use SD6600-168 for External Hi-Limit Sensor (sold separately)

Sundance OEM, 5.5kW, 230V, 3/4"RB x 3/4"RB, 2000 Plus, Replaces 6500-310 and 6510-310 Sundance Spa heaters.

Use SD6600-168 for External Hi-Limit Sensor.

This is a generic Balboa Smart Heater and was used in Sundance Spas from 2000 to present. This heater includes the internal high-limit thermo disc switch and wiring.

**NOTE WHEN BUYING** This Smart Heater has a slightly smaller dry well. When installing these heaters into spas manufactured prior to April 2007, you can no longer use the OEM Hi-Limit Sensor since it is too large to fit into the new heater's sensor well. You will need to replace both the Smart Heater and Hi-Limit Sensor (AI #SD6600-168) as a set.
