The white part of the picture is the jet nozzle.

To replace the old jet, you will first need to remove the old jet insert parts.  Note that if there are broken pieces, they will all need to come out such as a broken retaining ring before installing the new jet.

There is no secret way to removing the old broken jet pieces other than drain the spa and look at what is still stuck in the insert area that needs to come out, taking care not to damage the jet body.

You can use a pick tool, small screwdriver or other means to get out any broken, old jet pieces.

 The white fitting shown separately in picture is the jet nozzle and it goes into the jet body before the rotating ball and bearing.

If the old rotating ball, bearing, retainer ring and nozzle are removed, then install the new parts in reverse order beginning with the nozzle first, then the rotating ball/bearing/retainer ring snaps in.
