Dream Star Gecko Replacement System and Topside Conversion Kit

This is the conversion kit for old discontinued Dream Star Balboa system 52504-03 and topside.

Includes following items:

Q-Gecko-DREtrofit

This kit is to replace older QCA DREAM STAR models and does not work in the SILVER STAR.

Replaces the Dream Star spa pack with circuit board and enclosure for older style Dream Star models by QCA Spas that use Q2000 spa pak. 

This Gecko kit replaces the Balboa 52504-03 spa pack and 2 button Dream Star control panel 52488 (which is still available if only control panel is needed)

Replaces the old control system in Dream Star type 2 person hot tub. Newer Dream Stars are using the Gecko system.

The hole for the topside control panel in the shell may need to be made larger to accommodate the IN.2000K control panel.
Also when retrofitting an older Balboa system, the new pack requires only 1 temperature probe while the old Balboa pack had 2x.  Installer will need to leave one of the old probes in the hole and would need to reposition the new pack in the spa.
This system replacement is best performed by a qualified tech.
