Description

Fix-A-Leak 32 oz. is the large bottle of this concentrated solution which is poured into the hot tub water to fix leaks.

Be sure to remove filters before using.

Fix A Leak is a blended, concentrated material designed to seal leaks in virtually any material.

Can be applied for leaks in the shell and works equally well in the plumbing
Will seal holes 1/8" in diameter
Will form a permanent seal

The best solution to permanently fix leaks is to repair the plumbing, but sometimes - especially in fully foamed spas, that can be very difficult.

This product helps to seal holes up to 1/8" in diameter and forms a long-lasting seal. Use 4 ounces to every 250 gallons of spa water. We also offer the smaller 8 oz. size bottle if that is all that is needed.

This product will not harm salt chlorine generators, heaters, pumps or filters (but still best to remove the filter). Follow the directions that come with the bottle.

Great way to fix a slow leak. It also can fix a small shell leak, but most hot tub owners use it to fix plumbing issues.

Shake well before using.  With pump running, add Fix-A-Leak per directions that come with the product.  It can be introduced into the system either in the skimmer (with no filter) or in front of any suction intake. FixALeak is heavy and will sink to the bottom - it should be stirred back into suspension every 4-6 hours during the circulation of the water.  Continue to circulate the water until the leak stops.  After leak stops, they recommend curing 24-48 hours - then return to normal filtration.  After the leak has stopped for sure, then drain the spa and wipe down with a wet non-abrasive cloth. Let it dry for 4-5 days.

So let the water sit for a day after it has slowly circulated enough to have the leak stop.  Then drain the spa, wipe the shell and let it stand empty (covered) for a couple of days before refilling.   Remember to refill the spa at the skimmer/filter area to avoid an air pocket on startup - (and to replace the filter you removed).
