To replace the Uni-Nut with a split nut 0121108025, a slight modification to the tailpiece has to be performed.

Using a flat file or a rotary tool, remove the stop molded into the top thread as shown below being sure to continue the thread pitch 2 inches from stop.

 We also offer a uni-nut -42-2333B-K 2 1/2"mbt for 3 inch housings with a retainer if needed.
