HydroQuip 5.5kW 230V Heater 48-PS55 Slide Long Cord

48-PS55 is a Hydroquip flow through 5.5kW, 230V spa heater with long cord.

HydroQuip Platinum Series, 5.5kw 115v/230v flo-through spa heater.

The tube or heater manifold measures 15" x 2" and comes complete with a 60" cord and pressure switch.

For use exclusively with the HydroQuip Platinum series electronically switched control systems featuring slide heater technology.

Slide type heater with box also replaces 22-753040-0246 , 22-753040-0546 , 22-873-040-0543 , 22-873-050-0543 , 22-87B-000-1PP3 , 22-87B-S00-1FP3 , 26-08159 , 26-87B-S00-1FP3 , 48-HS55 , 48-PS55-S .

When replacing heaters that used the discontinued 9 pin type plug, note that the old style 9 pin connector is no longer available.
The heater can be replaced with heater above and also needed are the two receptacles to plug the substitute heater into, and a new hi limit sensor.
They are 09-0041A (12/3 molded receptacle) and WS-OVO4-02  molded 18/3 violet receptacle .
You will also need  a replacement hi limit sensor 34-0201B
