This item is the air button only, not the trim kit. Hole size 1 3/4". The air button should match the type of sensor used. A low volume button may not activate a latching type air sensor and a high volume button may damage a monetary type air sensor. This number 10 button can be used with latching sensors up to 15ft. away and momentary sensors up to 150 ft. away.

This air button is also called an actuator/bellow. The air switch receives the pulse of air from this air bellow/button actuator that is connected by tubing and converts it to an electrical signal within the spa pak for switching a device on either momentarily or latching.

Momentary means press=on and release=off. Latching or alternate means press=on, release=stay on, press again=off, release=stay off. Pushing the actuator/air button/bellow creates enough pressure to operate the air switch. There is complete electrical isolation with no voltage to be concerned with at the control button itself. This is a latching type, alternating button.
