This retrofit kit features the new MXBP20 system that replaces the discontinued BP501T8 with Maax Spas 8&9 button OVERLAYS.

Note this pack kit version is a complete system and the daughter card is also already installed in this set (unlike similar or incomplete sets).

The new system shipping now MXBP20 is the replacement system that will work with 3 pumps, or 2x2-speed pumps and a blower.

 Expander capability included in this pack allows for operation of the second 2 speed pump.

• Spa pack with TP800 topside control panel. This control panel is user friendly.  System will support up to two pumps (2 speeds on each) and blower; will not support a dedicated 24 hour circ pump.

You may need a TP800 control panel bezel 110574 to retrofit the control panel to spas that have a larger cutout in the spa shell.

Adapter cable available to go from J&J connector to amp plug for pumps & blower if needed, see 101279 CORD, PUMP, 2S 115/230V, 120 inches long AMP.

You may also need the aux control panel 109282 and overlay 109251 auxiliary 2 button control panel.

I will help you chose the correct “SETUP” to make it work for all components you have in the spa.
When installing this spa pack, the setup as documented on the back of the pack lid will need to be adjusted to match the installed equipment in the spa.
Back of the new spa pack lid will show all available setups available to the installing tech.

For installing tech as needed:  To modify Setup:

• With power on, flip up dip switch 1
• On the topside, go to Test, then Setup
• Arrow over to highlight the setup number.
• Use the up/down arrow keys to set spa to the appropriate setup (see pack lid for specifics).
• Select the ‘back’ arrow on the screen to save the setup number.
• Spa will reset. Test equipment.
• Flip down dip switch 1 before you leave
