Mazzei Ozone Injector Mix Package Del 9-0722-04 is a 3 piece set by Del Ozone that includes the blue mazzei injector with 3/4 inch barb ports.

Ozone injector kit has 3/4" barb connections.

Kit includes Mazzei injector, the Liquid Gas Mixer and a reducer nozzle that is usually not needed.

The Liquid Gas Mixer is also not used often, but for spas that have a 24-hour circ pump, the Mazzei injector can be installed along with the Liquid Gas Mixer which is a secondary mixing device that can be installed in the return line.

Diagram shows return fitting in spa wall on the left, the LGM, then the injector, the spa pack and the circ pump.  A check valve has an arrow next to it indicating flow direction from the ozonator.

Ozone gas is blended with the 3/4" mazzei injector at the tee connection (blue mazzei part). THe optional LGM is inserted ahead of the return for additional mizing which can raise the ozone concentration and lower the gas to liquid ratio.

Dissolved vs. Un-dissolved Ozone
• Dissolved ozone cannot be seen – it becomes aqueous
• Bubbles represent wasted ozone – there are no benefits to water quality
• What you want to see is a fine mist of bubbles (like champagne or Sprite)
• Old spas injected ozone into the foot well, where the un-dissolved, large
ozone bubbles went straight to the surface and off-gassed. This is a poor
way of introducing ozone to spa water, and ineffective in breaking down
organics in the water
• Bubbles (off-gas) are more likely to destroy spa covers, pillows and
surrounding areas than dissolved ozone will. Effectively dissolved ozone,
however, is virtually harmless.
• Ozone off-gas is what is smelled when you lift the cover
