This air button is also called an actuator/bellow. The air switch receives the pulse of air from this air bellow/button actuator that is connected by tubing and converts it to an electrical signal within the spa pak for switching a device on either momentarily or latching.

Momentary means press=on and release=off. Latching or alternate means press=on, release=stay on, press again=off, release=stay off. Pushing the actuator/air button/bellow creates enough pressure to operate the air switch. There is complete electrical isolation with no voltage to be concerned with at the control button itself.
