Spa Frog Floating Bromine Mineral System Serene

The Floating Frog bromine and mineral spa water purification system is easy to use.  This is for the complete system including floater and cartridges. Comes with floater, one bromine and one mineral cartridge to start.

This floating dispenser comes with one mineral cartridge and one bromine sanitizer cartridge.

Setting Up Spa Frog Cartridges

Begin use by setting the blue mineral cartridge to level 6, the maximum setting. 

Hold the bottom and turn the top on the yellow bromine cartridge to the setting 3 in the setting window on the cartridge if new to Frog as a starting point.

Once the 2 cartridges are adjusted, snap them into the floating holder (included) and place it anywhere in the spa water.

How to Use Spa Frog Floating System

In the beginning, test the water daily for a few days to see if the bromine level remains between 1-2 ppm (parts per million). 

If the bromine level continues to rise in your spa, you can dial the bromine feeder back to a "2".  On the other hand, if the bromine level in the spa is dropping below this range, then increase the feeder level to a "4". 

Finding the right balance for your spa depends on many factors, but once you have found the right number, then ongoing maintenance is a breeze with less frequent testing to maintain proper sanitizer level.

Don't test the spa water right after hot tub use, because the sanitizer will be at its lowest level then.

These cartridges are easy to replace.  The bromine cartridge only needs to be replaced every month or so.  The mineral cartridge actually lasts 3-4 months, so change the mineral cartridge only when refilling the spa every 3 months or so.

You will still need to shock the water with a non-chlorine shock treatment such as Refresh.
