Space Saver II Emerald Spa filter in black used in Emerald Spas and by other brand hot tubs.

The Space Saver 2 is found on the V110, C125, V215, C230, C3353 and E340 Emerald spa models.

Spacesaver II Emerald and Great Lakes spa filter assembly

The filter key allows for tightening or loosening of the filter caps for filter and spa maintenance. 

The filter key's two parallel pegs are inserted into the filter cap and turned to the open or closed operating position as needed. The removal hook helps to lift the filter elements from the inside of the filter. 

Does not include filter cartridges FC-2320 sold separately.

With the spa shut off, use the filter key to unscrew and remove the filter caps. This allows for any air pocket that has developed while the spa was filled with fresh water to escape from the filter cavity.

Once the water level inside the filter housing has reached the same level as the water inside the spa, you can then replace the filter caps.

Tighten the filter cap snugly using the filter key. Be sure not to overtighten. When the spa is running, you should not see or hear any water leaking where the filter top meets the filter housing.

If you see or hear water escaping, turn the spa off and tighten the filter lid.
