Split Nut for Heater Union 1 1/2 Inch Buttress Thread 121108015

Deluxe Style Heater Manifold Split Nut model 0121108015 by Magic Plastics also referred to as part 121108015 , 400-5491 , 415-4021 , 415-4051 , 415-4051B , 42-0007B , 700400 , RPL1-15-201S.

This is a 1 1/2" buttress thread heater union split nut also known as a 1 1/2" split compression nut.

When measuring for a split nut replacement, measure the inside diameter of the current "unsplit" nut (regular nut). 

• 2-7/16" actual diameter uses a 1 1/2" split nut (this one)
• 3-1/16" actual diameter uses a 2" split nut
• 3-3/4" actual diameter uses a 2 1/2" split nut

These are compression nuts with 2 screws (50087) included for heater tailpieces.

Heater split nuts are different than pump split nuts - this one is for a heater.  But this split nut is also used to connect certain pump suction fittings to filter canisters.

This large flange is for metal heater housings.
